Rich Pilkington is a Songwriter, Music Producer and DJ. Originally from London, but raised in Brussels, Rich writes and produces EDM and Pop.
His foundations started as a kid playing drums in bands and writing songs on the piano. Rich has since been on an tour as a session drummer supporting ‘The Saturday’s’, performed on radio, television, at Glastonbury festival and has DJ’ed extensively across London.
In 2014 Rich won the International Songwriting Award for ‘Best Dance Song’ with his track, ‘It’s Not Over,’ which also received some radio airplay in the US. He has also had a remix released with Warner Music and had his music featured in commercials in Europe. His pop writing has received interest from the likes of One Direction, The Wanted, Little Mix, Fifth Harmony and others.
As a topline and vocal producer, Rich has co-written and produced the top line for Tom Swoon and Swanky Tunes collaboration ‘Last Goodbye’ that was released by Ultra Records and reached no.12 in the Beatport charts. The track has received response from the likes of Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Nicky Romero, Benny Benassi, Blasterjaxx amongst others.
In addition to this Rich co-write and produced the vocal for Vigel & Robert Falcon’s ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ released on Armada. This song has been extensively supported by DJs and reached no.1 in the Beatport charts.
Rich is also part of a DJ duo called ‘Atlantix’ consisting of members Rich Pilkington & David Schoenwetter. They have had support from their remixes from US radio stations and are in the process of finalizing a string of original songs. Go to www.weareatlantix.com for more info.
